Trigonometric Functions (Right Triangle)

         Trigonometry is defined as " the measurement of triangles". Right triangle where one angle measures 90 degrees was one of the fundamentals.  From sides and angles the given the relationships applies. Plane trigonometry focuses more on any plane angles and triangles as well. In order to know the unknown sides and unknown angles of a given right triangle as a case, we should know the relationships of each. Relationships of an acute angle in a right triangle to its sides has six ratios. Hence,

This is the relationships of an angle given to sides.

Therefore;

Figure II

Based on figure II, given the angle a (alpha) and ß (beta), the six trigonometric functions were given. It is said to be fixed by means of relationships from the figure I given above.
