PROPOSITION
- a type of declarative sentence that is either true or false but not both.
A declarative sentence is a sentence that states either it is true or maybe false. for example, we can say that " A tree is taller the the flagpole. We don't see the flagpole nor the tree but based on the sentence it is declarative. Other forms of sentences are non-declarative, say, imperative, exclamatory, and interrogative.
Few examples of sentences and their kind.
1. John is smart. (declarative)
2. Are you late on your discrete class? (interrogative)
3. Go! hurry up! (exclamatory)
4. Please wait for me. (imperative)
5. There is heaven above. (declarative)
6. Nobody is right. (declarative)
7. Where are you? (interrogative)
8. Hey! (exclamatory)
9. Can you go and get her? (interrogative)
10. Today is Friday.(declarative)
