PERIMETER OF A RECTANGLE
From the definition, Perimeter is a distance around a figure. Perimeter is measured by linear units.
Perimeter of a rectangle is simply the total distance of all the sides of the rectangle. We want to add all of these distances to get the perimeter. Based on the figure above, we have
