Tautology
This subject is taught to develop critical thinking. In Discrete Mathematics and contemporary mathematics, this is usually present. In Discrete Mathematics, this talks about logical proofs with a table with its logical connectives such as AND, OR, NEGATION, etc. Other related topics on this are contingency, contradiction, equivalence, hypothesis, theorem, and the like. Philosophy subjects also take this as foundation training to the logical development of a student. They call it logical Tautology". English also takes this to monitor the redundancies in sentence construction. But our page is mathematically designed, so we are more on the math approach.
The point of this subject is it always tells the same thing in different ways like saying "yes", means "not no" but with the condition of binary ruling. If there's only "1" and "0", the "not 1" is automatic "0". These examples were using "negations" as connectives but it tells the same thing. Few examples were provided below to deeper the understanding of Tautology.
In mathematics
-a statement that is always true.
-a propositional function which is true in every possible way.
Examples
1.) A ∨¬A is in any case true.
2.) Tabular examples usually seen in Discrete Math subjects. This example is with logical connectives. See below.

In English
- it is an expression that tells the same thing twice but in
different ways.
Example
1.)PIN Number. PIN stands for Personal Identity Number We repeat the word "number" twice.
2.) ATM Machine. ATM stands for Automated Teller Machine and we repeat the word "Machine" twice.
3.) Can you repeat that again?. "Repeat" means "again".
4.) It's a free gift. A "gift" means "free".
5.). Pre-planning ahead. "Pre-planning" and "ahead" talk about the future.

More Examples.
1.) The USA is a country.
2.) Red is not blue.
3.) 1 is an integer.
4.) A horse is a mammal.
5.) The earth is round.
6.) Integers are whole numbers.
7.) President Donald Trump is American.
8.) The square root of 4 is 2.
9.) Pentagon is a polygon with five sides.
10.) The graph is curved in a second-degree equation.
